A Portuguese company with Belgian roots A Portuguese company with Belgian roots, created, constituted and idealized by Marc Vercaemst, former partner, inspired entrepreneur and nutritionist par excellence, and by Ingrid Van Dorpe and José Marques da Cunha, located and operating solely from Viana do Castelo – Portugal. Drawing on the experience and wisdom of its founders, the company has developed and deepened its knowledge in the field of animal nutrition and breeding in Portugal, E.U. countries, Asia and South America.
Adequate nutrition today occupies a central and decisive place in the productivity and profitability of all animal farms, thus justifying constant research in the nutritional field that makes it possible to provide a balanced diet, suitably supplemented with vitamins, trace elements, minerals, enzymes, among others, as a way of preventing deficiencies and metabolic disorders.
All the premixes are designed with the utmost technical rigor and manufactured by qualified personnel. They are premixes of vitamins, trace elements, minerals, enzymes, or nutrients, which, when combined with different types of raw materials, such as cereals and by-products, correct and complement the various food compositions (rations) according to the species and the respective stage of development it is in (Growth, Lactation, Fattening or Reproduction)
Administered in the correct percentage, the premixes act to improve feed quality, contributing to ideal health and welfare conditions for the animals and therefore to greater sustainability on the farm and a higher income, for each specific case and each species, such as:
- 1. Poultry;
- 2. Cattle, sheep and goats;
- 3. Pigs;
- 4. Horses, rabbits, others;
- 5. Fish, crustaceans, molluscs, others;
- 6. Dogs, cats and other companion animals.
Research is geared towards new techniques in animal nutrition and production. The main objective is to achieve product excellence, aimed at constantly improving the quality of our premixes. Our aim is to offer high quality products with maximum nutritional value, produced at the lowest possible cost, but with a primary focus on sustainability, in its three aspects: environmental, social and economic.
Premix Lda. has research partnerships with national and foreign universities. The aim is to study, test and/or develop new techniques or compositions, as well as the best use of raw materials, in order to be able to serve our customers better in an effective way.
